Under the direct supervision of the GBV Cluster Coordinator, the Information Management Officer-GBV Cluster will be responsible for principled, systematized and collaborative processes of collecting, processing, analyzing, storing, sharing and use of data and information safely and ethically to enable evidence-based and quality GBV coordination and response. This also includes providing training to the GBV cluster members and UNFPA implementing partners on ethical and safe data collection and management to fulfill reporting requirements of the GBV cluster. The position supports the effective functioning of the cluster.
GBV information management will result in:
- Enhanced GBV coordination
- Time and accurate GBV related information
- An established baseline data relevant to the response and to measure progress against it
- Tailored information management products to analyze how to improve response
-Evidence-based appeals for funding, including advocacy
- Strengthened integration of GBV into other cluster
- Facilitation of monitoring and evaluation activities
