The Position:
The Programme Analyst, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) is located in UNFPA Bangladesh, Cox’s Bazar, Office to support effective country programme and project delivery addressing the immediate humanitarian needs, supporting national capacity building and ensuring an integrated continuum approach across the humanitarian – development nexus. The Programme Analyst M&E analyses and assess relevant political, social, and economic trends, guiding and facilitating the delivery of UNFPA’s Programme. The Programme Analyst, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) will report to the Head of Sub-Office of UNFPA Cox’s Bazar.
Job Purpose:
The M&E Analyst will support the effective management of UNFPA results in the area of SRHR, A&Y and Gender within the context of Cox’s Bazar sub-office. Through the substantive analysis and assessment of political, social, and economic trends, you will contribute to project formulation, planning, monitoring, evaluation, and joint programming initiatives, and lead to the development and implementation of the results-based monitoring and evaluation system and strategies of the UNFPA Bangladesh humanitarian and development nexus programme and project. You will contribute to setting up M&E system in compliance with the results based management principles, monitor the results achieved during implementation, guide the appropriate application of systems and procedures, and propose enhancements as required for the Cox Bazar, UNFPA.
