The Position:
The Finance Analyst position is located in UNFPA Bangladesh, Cox’s Bazar office and reports directly to the Operations Specialist. The Finance Analyst is responsible for the effective execution of financial services and support to Implementing Partners (IPs) in full compliance with UNFPA rules and regulations. S/he supports accurate budgeting and effective control for transparent and efficient utilization of funds and timely reporting of expenditures.
Job Purpose:
The Finance Analyst provides leadership in the delivery of quality financial services to internal and external clients, and provides strategic advisory support in the preparation of workplans for effective implementation. S/he ensures timely disbursement of funds to IPs, vendors, suppliers, and monitors regular and donor funded expenditures. S/he follows up on timely submission of financial reports to achieve programme goals. The Finance Analyst builds the capacity of UNFPA programme personnel and IPs staff for the effective management of programmes and financial resources.
