The purpose of this strategy is to outline the contextualized interventions UNFPA plans to implement in the next three years to develop the capacity of the midwifery workforce, availability of data on care provided by midwives and the impact of that care of women and their families; and increase availability of quality comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights care in the Cox’s Bazar district. The strategy is aligned with the six focus areas identified in the UNFPA global midwifery strategy 2018-2030, which also aligns with the International Confederation of Midwives' (ICM) Global standards.
