Under the direct supervision of the GBViE Specialist/GBViE Lead in Cox’s Bazar Office, the Programme Associate - Gender will ensure the secretariat support to the GBV in Emergency (GBViE) Programme at Cox’s Bazar District with frequent travel to emergency affected districts as and when required. S/he will work closely with the GBViE team members, Gender Team in Dhaka, District Field Officer- Gender and UNFPA’s GBViE partners in Cox’s Bazar and will provide administrative support to implement UNFPA supported GBV programmes. S/he will prepare the necessary procurement requests guided by the GBViE Specialist. S/ he will also liaise with UNFPA Country Office Operations and Procurement to ensure timely submission of plans, complete required requisitions and do regular follow up of the procurement. S/he will assist the development of GBViE programmes annual work plans (AWPs) and will ensure they are uploaded into the system in a timely manner.
