National Midwifery Officer - is located in the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) and reports to the Programme Analyst – Midwifery, UNFPA Bangladesh.
The National Midwifery Officer, under the overall guidance and supervision of Programme Analyst- Midwifery and International Midwifery Specialist, UNFPA Bangladesh, will support the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council and Director General of Nursing and Midwifery in response to the needs of the midwifery profession and will provide technical support as per ToR for the effective and efficient functioning of the project with special focus on midwifery education.
