The National Family Planning officer shall be based in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The National Family Planning officer is part of SRHR Team of UNFPA Sub Office in Cox's Bazar. Under the overall supervision of SRHR Team Lead, the incumbent directly reports to the SRH Programme and Midwifery Specialist in Cox’s Bazar.
Under the overall supervision of SRHR Team Lead and immediate supervision of SRH Programme and Midwifery Specialist, the NFPO will work closely with government authorities, humanitarian agencies, civil society and local Counterparts for the effective provision of family planning to the Rohingya refugees and host communities in Cox Bazar.
He/She will be responsible for:
• Manage Programme funds in accordance with UNFPA policies and procedures.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report project activities (e.g., tracking the progress of the indicators).
• Support in emergency preparedness and response.
