The Programme Officer-Monitoring and Evaluation is located in the UNFPA Cox’s Bazar Sub-Office under the overall supervision of the Head of Sub Office (HoSO) and directly reports to the Humanitarian Coordination Officer. In close collaboration with programme staff, the Programme Officer -Monitoring and Evaluation (PO-M&E) will be responsible for developing and maintaining the monitoring and evaluation system, checking and communicating monthly kobo data, providing analysis of various information related to programme activities, preparing and reviewing quarterly/ annual progress reports and monitoring project activities on a regular basis, supporting to prepare donor reporting, situation reporting and budget management. S/he will provide necessary assistance to strengthen the M&E system and practices of the cox’s Bazar office.

The PO-M&E supports the delivery of UNFPA’s response in Cox’s Bazar by developing and implementing a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system for CXB, collecting and compiling data, development and maintenance of a web-based M&E system for various projects that are implemented by UNFPA in Cox Bazar, developing M&E framework, target setting, providing analysis of information, preparing and review of progress reports and monitoring project activities on a regular basis.
