The GBV Programme Officer will closely work with DWA/MoWCA and Implementing Partners’ (IPs) in the field to ensure quality implementation of the Project in relation to GBV prevention and response indicators and its appropriate reporting, as well as liaise with the HGSP Coordinator based in Country Office (CO), Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) team, GBV in Emergency (GBViE) team and GBV Sub Sector in Cox's Bazar Sub Office.
The GBV Programme Officer will be based in the UNFPA office in the Department of Women Affairs Office (DWA)/MoWCA with frequent travel to Cox’s Bazar. S/he shall directly report to the GBV Programme Specialist, UNFPA Country Office and coordinate with the GBV technical Specialist- Gender, HGSP and team in Cox’s Bazar to perform her/his day to day job.
Major Activities and Expected Results:
- Closely work with MSPVAW/MoWCA and provide the necessary support to strengthen the operation of One-Stop Crisis Centers in the district hospital and One-Stop Crisis Cell in Upazila health complex to provide 24/7 services to GBV survivors
- Closely work with UNFPA Reproductive Health (RH) Component and MoHFW on the implementation of health sector response to GBV and its data management
