The Programme Analyst:  Humanitarian-Development Nexus Programming for Adolescents and Youth (AY) is located in the Cox’s Bazar Sub-Office of UNFPA Bangladesh and reports to the Technical Specialist, Adolescent and Youth, Cox’s Bazar Sub-Office, UNFPA Bangladesh.
 

The Programme Analyst:  Humanitarian-Development Nexus Programming for Adolescents and Youth (AY) substantively contributes to the effective management of UNFPA’s humanitarian-development nexus programming activities per Country Programme 10 (2022-2026) for adolescents and youth in Cox’s Bazar.  S/he will provide substantive inputs to project formulation, implementation and evaluation, supporting joint programming initiatives and analyze and assess relevant political, social and economic trends in relation to humanitarian-development nexus programming. S/he will guide and facilitate the delivery of UNFPA’s Adolescent and Youth 2 CPD outputs in Cox’s Bazar by monitoring results achieved during the implementation of interventions and ensure the appropriate application of systems and procedures by all Implementing Partners.  In close collaboration with the Technical Specialist AY, the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), Gender Based Violence in Emergencies (GBViE) units and the M&E unit in Cox’s Bazar, the Programme Analyst:  Humanitarian-Development Nexus Programming for Adolescents and Youth (AY) will work closely with government authorities, humanitarian agencies, civil society and local counterparts to promote collaborative information exchange for driving more effective development and humanitarian assistance to adolescent and youth in Cox’s Bazar.
