The GBV Technical Officer will be based in the UNFPA office in the Department of Women Affairs Office (DWA)/MoWCA. S/he shall directly report to the GBV Programme Specialist, UNFPA Country Office. She/he will coordinate with GBV technical Specialist and team in Cox’s Bazar to perform her/his day to day job.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Closely work with MSPVAW/MoWCA to ensure 24/7 OCC services at the district hospital and selected Upazila health complex;
- Closely work with UNFPA Reproductive Health (RH) Component and MoHFW on the implementation of health sector response to GBV and its data management;
- Work closely with the focal person of health sector response to GBV and MoHFW on GBV data and roll out of health sector response to GBV protocol in Cox’s Bazar;
- Provide technical assistance for the overall implementation and management of the OCC component and health sector response to GBV in close collaboration with the staff members of UNFPA in-country office and in Cox’s Bazar (both RH and GBV staff);
- Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting (e.g., tracking the progress of the indicators and preparation of project reports capturing results, lessons learned, and best practices) with regard to OCC, data management and health sector response to GBV in close collaboration with UNFPA focal person;
