UNFPA is the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency. Cox’s Bazar is a UNFPA priority district for its 10-country programme. UNFPA supports the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and local NGOs in providing quality sexual and reproductive health services in the district. The Individual Consultant will be located in Cox’s Bazar, Sub office of UNFPA Bangladesh, and report to the Team Lead of the SRHR Unit, Cox’s Bazar.
This job aims to provide programmatic support in managing the SRH program to improve the quality of care and coordinate Sexual Reproductive Health and Gender-based violence integration as part of the Sexual Reproductive Health program of UNFPA Bangladesh. In close collaboration with the GBV, A&Y, and M&E Programme Units, and under direct guidance from the SRHR team, the incumbent is expected to provide a substantive contribution to the planning, implementation, management, coordination, and monitoring of humanitarian preparedness and response activities targeting Rohingya refugees and host communities of Cox’s Bazar.
