The Project Support Officer – Ending Gender Inequality and Child Marriage is located in the Country Office (CO) and reports to the Programme Analyst – Gender and Adolescents & Youth (G-A&Y). Notably, the Project Officer – Ending Gender Inequality and Child Marriage will also support relevant Government Implementing Partners and therefore may be required to work from the Ministry Offices according to need.
The Project Support Officer – Ending Gender Inequality and Child Marriage substantively contributes to the effective management and implementation of the Global Programme to End Child Marriage. S/he facilitates the delivery of UNFPA’s programmes by ensuring the quality of interventions, monitoring results achieved during implementation and supporting the reporting of these results. The Project Officer – Ending Gender Inequality and Child Marriage will work closely with the SRHR, the Gender, the Population and Development and Communications units in carrying out the responsibilities of this ToR.
