UNFPA is looking for a highly experienced public health / medical professional with substantive experience of working in the MoHFW (and or its directorates), Govt. of Bangladesh (GoB) at the highest decision-making level, with knowledge of health policies, working off its different directorates and linkages with MoHFW and other ministries and government agencies, to support Chief of Health, UNFPA in advocating for addressing these challenges.
Working under the direct supervision of the Chief of Health, the Consultant will be responsible for coordinating with the MoHFW and its different directorates viz., DGHS, DGFP, DGNM and Health Economics Unit at the highest levels (Sr. Secretary, Secretary, Addl. Secy, Jt. Secy and DGs, ADGs and Line Directors) for strategic improvement in the delivery of high-quality SRHR and HGBV services through all tiers of health systems, viz., community, primary, secondary and tertiary.
Key Deliverables:
- Detailed Plan of Action with timelines as per the tasks outlined above
- ToRs, SoPs, Readouts, meeting agendas, minutes of key meetings, brief reports as relevant to the activities above
- Monthly reports in a standard format of tasks accomplished in the month
