Basic Description:
The Case Management Officer supports UNFPA’s GBViE Program interventions in Cox’s Bazar. She will support the GBViE team to design and develop context-specific innovative and evidence-based programming in line with GBV Guiding principles and UNFPA’s Minimum Standards for Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies. The Case Management Officer supports the international MHPSS Specialist as well as the GBViE team and implementing partners to deliver services in compliance with IASC Guidelines for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings. She will ensure the appropriate training, mentoring, coaching, and monitoring support is in place to build partner’s capacity to provide high quality case management services that meet the needs of survivors including the most vulnerable and marginalized groups. Additionally, she will oversee information collection and advocacy related to gaps and challenges in GBV and related services including access to sexual and reproductive health. This position provides technical guidance to implementing partners’ Case Managers and Case Workers in Women Friendly Spaces and to Social Welfare Officers in Women Led Community Centers, under the direct supervision of the GBViE Program Specialist and overall guidance of the GBViE International Program Specialist/Team Lead. As GBV requires a multi sectored response, the Case Management Officer will also encourage smooth communication, collaboration and coordination among partners from the protection, health, legal and psychosocial sectors working to end violence against women and girls.
